Description

This journey is filled with fascinating contrasts. We begin by driving through rugged mountain landscapes towards the charming fishing village of Quriyat. From there, the route leads us along the scenic coastline to the striking Bimah Sinkhole, a natural limestone depression with turquoise waters at its base. We continue through the picturesque village of Wadi Tiwi, surrounded by lush date palms against the backdrop of towering mountains, with a memorable photo stop at the beautiful Wadi Shab.

Our tour then proceeds to Sur, once a prominent trading hub with East Africa, and still renowned today for its traditional dhow building. Guests will enjoy a visit to the famous Sur Dhow Factory (please note: closed on Fridays).

A traditional lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
On the return journey to Muscat, we pause at the stunning Fins Beach for a refreshing stop.

Special Notes:
The drive from Muscat to Sur takes approximately 3.5 hours by saloon car (one way).
We recommend light, comfortable clothing and suitable walking shoes for this excursion.
