Terms & Conditions
Extra driver charges - OMR 2 per day. Insurance @ OMR 3 per day for cars amd OMR 5 per day for SUV/4WD's.
Baby seat @ OMR 2/day.
The rental day = 24 Hours. No half day charges applicable.
For the peak period 20th December to 07th January, a surcharge is applicable of OMR 5 per day.
Drop off and pick up charges may apply. We will need a valid Credit Card with copy of the driver's license to rent the car. We will provide a clean car inside and outside with a full tank of fuel and it should be returned similarly if not charges will apply.
Payment Terms
Payment for the above services will be to us at Sunshine Holiday Services either in Cash or Credit Card. If through credit card a service fee of 3% is applicable. On confirmation we will require the 'Credit Card Authorisation Form' filled and signed. We accept - Visa & MasterCard for renting the vehicle with a minimum 6 months validity.
Traffic offense as and when received from the Royal Oman Police will be charged to the Credit Card.
We will do a 'Pre-Authorisation' for OMR 100/- if cash is paid for the rental at the time of delivering the vehicle, if the payment is by Credit Card the full amount will be 'Pre-Authorised' at that time.
Cancellation Policy
| Upto 7 Days | No cancellation charges |
| 6th day - 72 Hours | 50% of the total (all inclusive) cost of the rental as cancellation charges will apply |
| Less than 72 Hours | Full cancellation charges of the total (all inclusive) cost of the rental will apply |
The afore mentioned rates are subject to 5% VAT on the final amount at the time of closing of the rental.
Example of the VAT 5% calculation would be - final payable amount is OMR 100 - OMR 100/95 x 100 = OMR 106/-
We recommend you pay CASH Omani Rial US Dollar or Euros and save the Credit Card charges. (Euro exchange will be as per prevailing rate at the money exchange)
